The Catacombs Beneath Barsh-yin-Binder
The catacombs beneath the city of Barsh-yin-Binder were built many centuries ago during the height of the Kopalnik civilization. Back then, the catacombs connected a series of underground bathhouses and spas which were heated by hot springs that bubbled upward from the earth. As the city of Barsh-yin-Binder went into decline, the catacombs were abandoned. Passageways crumbled, doors rusted shut, darkness reigned, while vampire bats and other strange animals found refuge here. The map above, which once belonged to a prominent Barsh-yin-Binder family, was purchased by a Benedictine monk who passed through the city in the early 1700s. We have marked it to indicate some places that Alfonso and Bilblox visited.
